There was nothing unique about this place other than it is a motel with lipstick, fronting as a hotel. That picture is very deceiving.
The room was AWFUL! The smell of smoke was profuse and as someone who is allergic to smoking, I hardly slept at nights, and I had a headache every day! I complained about it, but the front desk staff was helpless.
The room needs to be sanitized and the age-old and longstanding curtains taken down and laundered or changed. The front desk staff told me that there is nothing they can do if guests decide to smoke in the rooms, other than hold on to their deposits. That was a really confusing response because MOST hotels have this policy, and MOST guests abide by it. So, what is different about Days Inn? I doubt that they enforce their policy and guests like me SUFFER!
The noise was disgusting. After long days (9 am – 9 pm) of meetings every day, at least I wanted to be able to think when I returned to the hotel. If I could not sleep, I at least deserved to be able to think. Well, the noise was awful! Outside the room, I could hear children running up and down the corridor at all hours of the night. OMG!
The only thing I can think of was that the bed linens appeared clean. I could not find my hairbrush after Wednesday. Sadly, in my rush and an absolute delight to get out at 4 am on Monday, I believe I left my computer mouse there.
Never. Ever. Again. One and done.
