Hotels in a great location with close transport links to venice city, and only 10 minutes walk to lido beach. Staff very friendly and attentive. Room was very comortable, good selection on breakfast. At the top of the hotel there is a triple deck roof terrace with fantastic views. I would highly recommend.

Our first time in Venice, and we found this hotel was ideal, situated across the road from the water transport hub. The room was clean and comfortable, overlooking the lagoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast food was of good quality, and the hotel was clean throughout.

This was our third visit to The Riviera and our reasons for returning was the excellent service and accommodation previously provided.
On this occasion we discovered that our booking didn't include a room with a balcony - important for my wife's need for easily accessible fresh air.
After making our concerns known the Manager Piero Padovar make a phone call to me in the hotel and said that we could move room the next night - at a very reasonable additional charge.

Lovely hotel, really friendly staff who showed us where everything was, which water bus to get etc. Close to what is a lovely seaside style resort so restaurants, ice cream, beach etc. within 10 minutes walk. Only minus is that the bedroom was very hot at night so difficult to sleep.

We stayed at the JW Marriott for 4 days and loved every minute. It's a beautiful, clean hotel 20 minutes by boat shuttle service from Venice. The staff can't do enough to help and never said 'no' to any of our requests. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and looked forward to our breakfast each morning. We stayed for 6 nights and found this hotel just perfect for our needs. From start to finish the staff were very friendly and cheerful as well as helpful and efficient. I would especially mention the lovely lady who oversaw the breakfast room each morning - always smiling and welcoming. Our room was tastefully furnished with a good sized bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities - unusual in Italy I think but very welcome.

Breakfast was good, room was lovely!
Only negative about our stay was a very noisy bar close to the hotel, music was very loud until around 11pm - this is no criticism of the hotel itself and noise was manageable with earplugs despite me being a very light sleeper.
Location is perfect and we would stay here again
