"Except for an elevator that needed repairs, this was a delightful property right on the beach. In the harbor area, I think it was one of only a few in Brookings that could claim they were on the beach. The room was clean, comfortable, had a lovely balcony with beach/ocean view. We left the slider open to hear the waves all night. It's a large property with 4 buildings, so the breakfast room was large and spacious with plentiful options. The breakfast attendant kept everything well supplied and the table and serving areas clean. Perfect for beach walks at low tide with another area to park and walk on the beach right down the road. Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"Nice ocean view, great staff, clean room. The breakfast is very nice but the coffee is terrible! If I could include a photo of a cup of coffee you would see that there was chocolate in the bottom of every cup. It does not matter if you chose latte anything else or just regular there is still sweet chocolate in your coffee. Please get rid of this terrible coffee machine!"

"Rooms are always very clean. Beds are super comfy. Staff is absolutely wonderful. We stay here every time we come to Brookings. Plus you are like a block away walk from the beach and a few blocks from the charter boats. "

"The hotel was comfortable and attractive but the shower was fabulous. They have soft water, and it got nice and hot. Each of got to take a long, hot shower, which was lovely after a long drive drive. Afterward we got to sleep in comfortable beds."
