"The resort was very pretty and clean, and the cabins were incredible. The included breakfast was international and included lots of different options. Make sure you have a car though. Otherwise, you'll have to take a taxi everywhere. You can not walk to attractions."
"Apartment was exceptionally clean and in a good location. Host provided parking map that was helpful and we were able to find free parking a short distance away."

Bring the children to SantaPark and have a fun-filled day at this theme park in Rovaniemi. Visit the shops and top-notch restaurants in this family-friendly area.
One of the most beautiful places I have visited, wonderful in the snow great kids park with an ice rink and sledging hill about 10 minutes from hotel. Also close to Santa in the centre of town which is cheaper than a village to Santa Claus village.

Excellent
We came to visit the Arctic Circle Village (always a fun, nostalgic time for us), and also Arktikcum Museum, which sadly this time (2024), had its science/ arctic section closed for renovations.

Just walk cathedral city , go down to the river, walk up to the church. Take bus#8 to the Santa village- you don't have to be a kid to enjoy it

Spent 2 nights in Onuswara & 1 night in Santa's Igloo. Amazing places. We took the Aurora Hunting tour with Arctic GM experiences. They put in a good effort & we got to see good light. Ensure you carry a good Camera. Iphone 15 pro Max or higher.

I would recommend the Monterosa restaurant, execptional food and service (also happens to be attached to the Arctic city hotel). Number 8 bus takes you to the Santa village for €3.60 each way, multiple departures a day.

Great place for a holiday. Rovaniemi is a great place to recharge and is a very pleasant place to be in.

"Loved the location in the forest of a ski resort in summer. The roof terrace view is panoramic revealing all the fells around Rovaniemi. The nature trails surrounding the hotel are wonderful. The food was excellent. The sauna in our room was outstanding along with the view from the room over the local forest. Would do it again one day though it is a long way from Australia. At the end of fourteen self driving around Finnmark and Sapmi it was an excellent choice on our journey back to Kirkenes. We loved northern Finland.
The staff made a worthwhile and enjoyable stay."
"Excellent place to stay if you want to be away from crowds and near nature. The sky and tree view from the igloo windows and ceiling were fabulous. It was a very peaceful place to stay to watch the snow falling and to view the Northern Lights.
The igloo was clean, modern, and roomy enough for two people. The onsite restaurant served excellent food and drinksyet the dinner choices were limited. The included breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had with numerous hot food choices and wonderful blueberry juice. The Staff were amazingly kind and helpful and there was no wait when we needed them.
Santa Clause Village is a ten minute walk from the igloos where you will find additional places to eat and a few shops. A highlight was meeting Santa Clause in his charming office (no cost) and standing at the Arctic Circle. There are some additional activities for fees at the Village.
Note: If you take the Santa Clause Village Bus from the RVN airport ($9.00 US) you will have a walk to the igloos which is challenging in the snow or mud. It would be helpful if they offered transportation on demand from the bus stop to the igloos in their Polaris. The taxi from the airport is $70.00 US.
We also took the Santa Clause Village Bus into the city center of Rovaniemi and took an excellent Northern Lights Tour with Arctic GM Experiences
Northern Lights Rovaniemi Guaranteed Viewing and Unlimited Mileage.
Our guide was wonderful, and we saw the beautiful lights at the end of the season. "
