"We had a great stay at Hamilton House – very friendly owners, spotlessly clean property, large comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Really useful having the car park at the back for our motorcycles, out of sight and under cameras. 15 minute walk in to town. Dumfries is a great base for exploring the area, highly recommended, we will be back!"
"Serious problem on phone when trying to enter the building due to the lady on line unable to explane that the room key and front door keys were in the lock box.
I discussed this with the manager the following day and he accepted that the lady did have problems in explaining things.
Note that anyone arriving without an operating telephone would not be able to get the code for the lock box!!!
