We had a great experience at Hilton Copacabana. The staff are INCREDIBLE, cleaning staff go the extra mile, breakfast has tons of options, and both restaurants (4th and 37th floor) have great food and drink. Security at the entrance of the hotel is top notch. Complaints: the wifi is absolutely terrible, you are situated in a pretty residential area (not much shopping but plenty of pharmacies and supermarkets), the walk to the beach can be a bit tricky if traffic is heavy.

The hotel is old, our room is just beside the elevators and it was very noisy when the elevators were going up and down, it never stops, when we were in the room, we can hear very loud sound of the elevators moving. Especially in the midnight, the sound was very obvious, we woke up several times a night because of the sound. Highly recommend that you have to choose the rooms away from the elevators!!

The hotel was nice but the staff wasn’t responsive. The pull out need didn’t have any sheets and there were none to be found in the room. I tried calling housekeeping and front desk several times but nobody answered. Finally I went down and asked in person and the assured me they’d sent someone up. Waited for over 30 minutes and nobody ever showed. Finally we were so tired from our days adventures we just stole a sheet from the other bed.
