"Check in was quick as I completed pre-check in online. The property is on a quite street in the city mile. I had a junior suite which was a great choice, spacious and big bathroom with separate shower, toilet and bath, plus walk in wardrobe. Japanese toilet is a nice touch. "I would not stay here again. It’s basically a hostel. Upon check in we asked for a room away from the elevator. They gave us one right next to it. The 2 twin rooms are the tiniest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. There’s no room to move around, no room to store things. It’s insane. The walls are paper thin. The doors don’t close right so they all have to be slammed in order to shut. There’s only 3 plugs in the entire room. Zero in the bathroom. The bathroom is small. You get 2 shower towels and zero other towels. Not a single hand towel. So weird. The tile floor was cracked in the bathroom. The grout was missing. The floor of the shower looks like someone attacked it with a knife. This is super low budget. Shockingly the two highlights were the bed and the pillows. Those were actually quite nice… which was odd. Also, the AC set up was stupid and didn’t work well. It was almost like motion censored so if you weren’t in the room or if you were sleeping it would turn off? I don’t know but it was hot at night. Which made sleeping difficult. Basically I hated this hotel."

"The view is amazing. My daughter had a larger window rm933 with a Tower Bridge view that was spectacular. The only challenge was trying to keep the room cool. They offer fans which is helpful. I had a corner room that was smaller with a smaller window. It didn’t seem to get as hot and had the same great view. Rm953 we all agreed the view was worth it! The breakfast was delicious and the staff was always very helpful"

"The staff were really great, friendly and efficient. The room was very good except for the shower, no water pressure and the water was either boiling hot or cold. I did not have breakfast at the hotel. The hotel is ideally located next to the tube station, although the area itself is a little grotty"

"After staying here, I now love the East End of London. This hotel is really well-located with a bus stop, many grocery stores nearby and walking distance to many attractions, like Museum of the Home and Brick Lane & Spitalfields Markets. I was upgraded to a triple room and it was basically my apartment in London. I was very comfortable and extended my stay. The kitchen has all the essentials: a combined toaster over/stovetop which did the job; good size fridge; microwave dishes & cutlery; kettle, coffee & tea; plus, the real bonus, a washing machine and airing rack! (Note: I did have to buy my own washing detergent.) There was a dining table, which I used as my office, a sofa, air-conditioning and a radiator, iron & board and a safe. The cleaners were amazing and really thorough, even doing the dishes. The TV had all the channels plus cable. The washroom was adequate and the shower hot. I will happily return and stay here when next in London."
