"There are several things that need improvement at this lodge. Upon arrival we were not treated in a friendly manner. He acted like we were interfering with his time when we arrived. We arrived early and he said it would be a $35.00 extra charge for early check in . So we left and looked for something to do until our check in time. When we arrived back he still was not friendly, another employee had to go find him and it took about 10 minutes for him to come to the registration desk. I was then 5 minutes early, I asked him if it was still to early to check in and I got no response from him. Finally got our room key and got our things moved into the room. There was a strange smell that seemed to be coming from the room next door so we went to Walmart and bought a plug in air freshener to help with the smell. There were several really important things in the room that should have worked but did not. One of the most is the bathroom door would not shut so you could not lock it to have any privacy when going to the restroom. The beds were so soft it was like we were sleeping in a gully. Terrible nights sleep. Did not eat breakfast. When checking out still no hope you enjoyed your stay or anything. Would not stay here again "

"Great location, cool aesthetic, fun bars… that being said we were sadly unable to sleep there due to the incredibly strong chemical odor in our room. The room had a lot of exposed concrete and murals (which looked cool) but there was a horrible off gassing from whatever they used to treat the concrete. It kept us awake all night. When we tried to talk to front desk attendant Amanda, she was very augmentative and treated us as if we were crazy for even mentioning this to her. She refused to come to the room and check for herself and offered no solutions. After multiple conversations with Amanda - I asked if housekeeping could at least show us another room- which they did and we moved. Amanda gave us free breakfast coupons “for the trouble of moving” and made snide comments as she handed them to us about how we “must be sensitive to men’s cologne”-still arguing with us. Very strange comment as it was obvious off gassing from materials used for the wall treatments. overall our experience was subpar to say the least. Hoping upper management takes this as an opportunity to check out what could potentially be a toxic situation and get it resolved."

"Clean room with a comfy bed and a view of the city. Check In was smooth with a friendly reception. The hotel itself was also within walking distance to shops and restaurants, which is a big plus. The included breakfast was just a continental thing, so we went elsewhere."
