"When we arrived earlier than predicted our room wasn't ready understandably but we were given a free upgrade to one of their apartments nextdoor which was a lovely surprise. The apartment was nicely furnished, clean and had all the appliances you would expect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you at breakfast , everything was cooked to your specifications and served at your table. Even if you wanted something from the buffet they would bring it to you, you didn't have to move. Our stay was wonderful and we wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future."

"Broken shower in one of our rooms but were able to change rooms. The windows need some attention as its not always possible to secure them (and keep external noise out). Staff are great though and it's a good price with breakfast inc. Would stay here again."

"On entering the hotel we immediately noticed the unkempt borders and dirty glass on the doors. The courtyard, which could have been lovely, was overgrown with weeds and dirty benches. Charged for the car park which was a rough piece of land! The room was very tired with missing handles on drawers, thin duvet and un- ironed, well used bedding. The bathroom had had a bit of a makeover but the mixer tap had no control and the water went from freezing to boiling!! Very dangerous and no warning given. The floor tiles were marked and unclean. Towels clean but old Breakfast was ‘on the go’, in a bag with a choice of a tuna melt or cheese and onion toasted - not exactly a breakfast.Poor wifi too. Extremely disappointing stay overall and we are easy going people are never ones to ever complain!! It definitely needs a HUGE makeover!!"

"Excellent hotel and I will definitely be staying there again. All the staff were helpful. The receptionists were really welcoming and helpful particularly Karen and Claire. We Used room service and had a really polite and helpful young man called Kallum who was patient with me when I got a bit flustered. Also Simone was a happy cheerful face in the morning, she made you feel like you were a regular by greeting you so warmly. The facilities were excellent, everywhere was clean and the room we had was lovely. Nice clean bathroom and really comfortable beds. The hotel definitely deserves the 5 stars and I highly recommend it."
