Looks exactly like the pictures lovely quiet unspoilt location with great pool and friendly staff, although the staff on the tour desk and reception could have been a bit more knowledgeable on the activities and local markets etc and how to settle the account at the hotel

Returned for my 4th visit after a 5 year break due to Malaysia being closed to foreign tourists. The hotel has been extensively renovated during the lockdowm so we spent much more time by the pool and the rooms were great. Miss the vibe of the Cba beach bar. The pelangi grill feels more like a restaurant than a bar. Stayed for 3 nights and noticed the buffets were smaller than before covid and the options were fairly consistent for the 3 nights we were there. Would have liked more variety...

We spent four nights here. We stayed in a sea view studio. The room was large, the view was great. The roof pool and bar were really good, and there is a small beach close by, just ask and you’re taken there in a buggy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If we return to Langkawi, we will stay here again. Tips: Take your own shower gel as you only get shampoo and conditioner and use the Grab app for getting cabs.

The hotel itself is very new and well maintained, with an amazing view of the ocean. The staff are very exceptionally friendly and happy to accommodate questions and requests. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very nice hotel in a quiet area on 1.5kmts from the airport. Unfortunately this means that you have to travel to get to the beaches and nightlife. The buffet breakfast was good with many Asian choices and eggs fresh-cooked anyway you like. I recommend getting the Grab app as they were excellent for travelling around and very, very cheap. Centrally placed to the Main Street in Pantai Cenang. Good selection of food at the buffet breakfast. Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Extended Happy hour with BOGOF. Close to the airport and easy to get a Grab taxi (download the App first). Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful hotel with lovely, accommodating staff. We had such a relaxing 6 nights here where nothing is too much trouble! I’d recommend this hotel to anyone and would love to come back soon!

One of the most delightful hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are outstanding. The hospitality feels more like staying in the home of good friends than a normal commercial hotel experience. The warmth of welcome goes well beyond just polite and efficient service, though they provide that too. Don't worry about the steep hill. Staff will drive you to your door in a four-wheel drive vehicle if you can't manage the climb. But we usually walked up. I counted about 250 steps from the bottom...

A taste of paradise being in the rain fiorest and still see the sea. Hotel staff were all friendly, our chalet was a bit dated but it added to the natural surroundings, the floor boards could be looked at creeked all the time. Views were amazing and you felt like you were living in the rain forest close to nature with so many animals and birds to see. Food was very good and liked how we could choose which restaurant to dine in each night. As far as eco more needs to be fone as plastic water...

Very nice stay at langkawi, staff very helpful and firendly

We stayed at Temple Tree for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon and couldn’t have had a more amazing stay. We were greeted with a drink and cookie upon check-in, then upgraded to a four-bedroom villa with a private pool which was incredible and so appreciated. We loved the history of the houses which were so unique but still beautifully decorated with everything you could need. We were even provided with insect repellent. We had an amazing 7 night stay at The Camar, the room was very comfortable and overlooked the great long pool, Breakfast was good, the staff were truly wonderful. The location is on a pretty beach on the edge of town, away from all the clamor but near enough for either a long walk or short taxi ride. The hotel run a scuttle service. There are pretty of restaurants and bars in the area. Would highly recommend

We chose this hotel after many hours researching and weren't disappointed at all! The sea view room was just that with a lovely balcony. The pools were clean with plenty of sun beds and towels at hand. the food and drinks were of a very high standard with plenty of choices. the staff, especially Brian at reception were most attentive and helpful. we were even offered mosquito spray when dining outdoors in the evening! the Mini Cooper we hired for a day touring the island was great fun and let us...

Beautiful island, great hotel, fantastic restaurant, helpful & friendly staff. I can’t praise this place highly enough. TBH the maintenance is slightly behind the curve (they had to fix the lights and hot water, but did so promptly). But if it was five star perfection the cost would reflect that.

Amazing experience, staff were the kindest too and were super easy to communicate with overwhatsapp whenever needed. The location of this villa is also super convenient near pentai cenang the main street in langkawi and high up on the mountain so the views were amazing too. highly highly recommend. I travel for around 3 months each year and stay in a lot of five star hotels during my trips. The Datai Langkawi provided a very special experience indeed. From the amazing breakfast buffet, the landscaping, to the tours with the in-house naturalist, the Datai had it all!
