There is a focus on accessibility here - in the hotel with an elevator and elevated walkways, and in the neighborhood for wheelchair access. I felt very safe on my own, even walking at night. Juan S. at the front desk spoke perfect English and gave me suggestions of where to go - the best taco place is down the street, and I walked to a huge New Year's Eve celebration. I went to Nomads, right down the street, for cheap beers and their cool, fun rooftop bar and then came back for a quiet, restful sleep.This is a perfect location in downtown for excursion companies to directly pick you up. "
