"Lovely hotel. Food was great, breakfast was best we have had for a buffet for a long time. Staff at dinner service were miserable and the prices of drinks I felt were high at £7 a pint. Room was really nice with seperate kids room and colouring packs. Pool was lovely "

"The room was clean but bathroom and the room itself looked tired and needed a bit of decorative attention. The veggie breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from. The staff were polite and friendly. "

"I managed to get the last parking space available fortunately. The hotel is a mix of old and new. The older part is pleasant enough but the new rooms more recently built in a separate building are excellent. The food at The Burton is good. No complaints whatsoever. The thing that stood out though was the staff. They were all so helpful and welcoming. From the young lady who had just started at the hotel to the manager Jana, they were all exceptional."

"Clean room staff very helpful,Bar is very nice serve and friendly in different room Breakfast is all there very nice. But when stayed in No 1 (McNeil) toilet you can get WiFi but you out of toilet you can’t have it! And when outside doorway about 8pm and early morning can’t see get a light on see where I am going!"

"Clean room, lots of free parking, great location in heart of town and beneath Montgomery Castle. The staff were lovely, food was excellent with priority on using local ingredients and beer and wine. Superb value for money as well. Would not hesitate to return to The Dragon Hotel in future!"
