"Location of hotel is good as it is near a tram line. Staff were grumpy and unfriendly - from checking in, to getting a drink at the bar to breakfast! "

I can honestly say I had a fabulous stay at this lovely hotel. The staff are so helpful and friendly. A special mention to Josef and Igor, who both gave such helpful advice on their city. I have already recommended to friends. The restaurant is superb and the hotel itself is a little gem !

The staff go above and beyond and always so wholesome and cheerful. All the online reviews about the staff being the beating heart behind this hotel's enduring success are spot on. An example: Our room had no kettle, and as we make our own coffee with our own travel 'contraption' and more importantly in the winter, needed to fill a hot water bottle due to serious back pain we were really disappointed not to have one in the room. No problem at all-- the lovely chap at reception found one in the...

We really had a good time as a family. It is a self check in and we were provided with instructions. The property is clean and almost complete of your basic needs. It’s about 5-7 min walk to the nearest tram/metro to go around the city. The property is quiet and secured. There were few broken things that I reported right away. It could have been caused by previous occupiers. One of the sofa bed has a broken slat. It did not bother us as my youngest just shared a bed with her sister. The shower...

I stayed at the Alwyn Hotel for two nights on a business trip to Prague. I was attending a meeting at the Hilton, but that hotel was fully booked, so with some trepidation I booked myself into the Alwyn, five minutes walk away. I was very pleasantly surprised. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped (including free WiFi broadband). Room service meals were available and the small restaurant downstairs was very pleasant. The hotel is located on a quiet side street with no noisy...

Booked a river view room and it definitely did not disappoint! Check in was super easy and breakfast was lovely every day we were there. We did not get to use the pool during our stay but it looked amazing! They had a designated information desk at reception, if you had any questions about the local area which I thought was great! Lastly, the location of the hotel is perfect! About a 15/20 minute walk to the city centre.

Room was comfortable a nice with nice and clean bathroom (bathrooms are a signal of quality for me). Also I loved the brand a scent of cosmetics provided (shower gel, soap, cream). Hotel overall looks very neat. The breakfast was tasty.

After reviewing all the reviews I was unsure what I was going to find and how my stay would be as we had booked two rooms with friends. On arrival greeted and check in was easy and no issues. We parked the car in the garage which is little tight for medium and big cars but well maintained and clean. Rooms were spacious clean and warm. Bathroom clean with shower gel supplied. Slept well both nights only downside would have liked extra pillows as there only one pillow but other than that couldn’t...

Great hotel with an excellent breakfast. It's within walking distance of both a tram stop and a metro station, making it easy to get around the city. I would happily stay here again. The only thing to note is that it can get quite busy at times, as the hotel appears to be popular with large tour groups.

Great value for money. Very clean. Excellent transport links by subway or tram to wherever you may wish to go in Prague. Very friendly and helpful reception staff, particularly Sona and Daur, who were both more than efficient and happy to help with any query. Comfortable beds and good size rooms. Only minor problem is the lift is small and can only carry 2 people, so at some times of day you may be waiting a while if you dont want to take the stairs. Large choice of food at the buffet breakfast,...

Really cool interior decoration, a lot of content in the hotel (games, bar, restaurant) and friendly staff. Hotel has recently been renovated and smells good!
