"The hotel is in a great location with many nearby restaurants and coffee shops. Parking is included in the room price which is a great deal because so many hotels charge for parking. It's an older building, but the rooms have been recently remodeled and are very nice. The rooms are very clean and even have a microwave and mini fridge. "

Chancellor Hotel on Union Square

10/10 Excellent

"A 16 story but small hotel, only about 10 rooms per floor. It is old but kept up. It is reasonably priced. The room was an adequate size with a large walk in closet. The beds and pillows are comfortable.The only public facility in the building appears to be a small bar, but they make up for it with numerous freebies: coffee, fruit, candy and excellent cookies. It is very close to Union Square, and a cable car line is right in front. There is also all kinds of public transportation nearby. So are many huge hotels, new and old. It is therefore crowded but there are also a lot of restaurants and stores right there. You could probably pay a lot more without getting anything better."
