"We have stayed in many hotels Portsmouth and were pleasantly surprised with the Holiday Inn. Parking was available, safe and easy. Ana who checked us in was efficient and friendly. The hotel and our room was spotless. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included in the price and we enjoyed the selection. The quality of the coffee was excellent 👌 Would definitely book again."

"When visiting Portsmouth this properties location in between the Historic Dockyards and Gunwharf Quays meant that for our three day stay we could easily walk to all of the major attraction. The fact it has its own car park was also a plus although you could easily travel there by public transport due its close proximity to the bus and rail stations. The staff were very helpful even finding some Marmite for my breakfast toast. One note it is is located on a busy corner so traffic noise can be a little intrusive, but not to bad."

"We arrived at the hotel late afternoon to find the on site car parking full. We parked on the street outside, checked in, and was given a parking permit for the space we used. We were only there for a couple of nights, and didn't need to move the car until we left. The lady at the reception took us up to our room and showed us in. A little quirk of the hotel is that all the rooms have names that begin with a "G", ours was Gleeful. The room was minimally furnished and the bathroom fairly basic. The bed was comfy enough for a short stay, although, a lighter quilt would be more suitable for the summer months. Going down to the restaurant next morning, we were greeted by a smiling friendly waitress, who took care of our breakfast. The menu is the usual mix of cooked and buffet options, and served promptly by our waitress. Whilst not luxurious, it was fairly priced and we have no complaints."
