"A gorgeous property, down a long driveway and far from any boise other than birds and the breeze. There are ruins of a large manor/chateau (?) on the property that formed the view from our room and fascinating to wander through. The hostess is lovely and the breakfast delicious."

"The beach is right on front on the hotel and there is an extremely entertaining rotation of activities depending on if the tide is in or out.
I had an excellent meal there with very friendly, helpful service. Quite delicious. There is a view onto the beach and at the seats directly looking out at it binoculars are provided which is a nice touch. I really enjoyed my stay and am looking for an excuse to go there again :) "
"An exceptional hotel. It’s located on a quiet street right next to a park, but great shops and restaurants are within a minute walk from the hotel. Our room was thoughtfully appointed at every level. Care and attention was paid to every detail of the room, its use of space, its furnishings, fixtures, and even the linens. The room was bright and airy, as were all the common areas. The owners were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. A charming, old world hotel in character and appearance, but fully modern in function and design. One of our favorite hotels we’ve stayed in anywhere in Europe, Canada, or the US. Highly recommended!
