Great Experience

A beautiful property and very helpful and friendly hosts. Our stay here was great. The rooms were comfortable and large based on our experiences with other hotels. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and made you feel like you were visiting family. Very well located as well. Despite all these good things the highlight for us was the surprise from Jean at breakfast. And it had nothing to d with the great food.

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!!!

It could Not be better!!! WONDERFUL Host and Hostess. Breakfast was superb, accompanied by Maestro Jean playing the piano. The Hostess, Marie Pierre was sweet as candy. We will be back. We took her suggestion on where to drive to and they were all wonderful...I can't say enough things about them or their accomodations. We had a wonderful time with them, love them!!!

Marie-Pierre et Jean nous ont chaleureusement accueilli. Jean nous a émerveillé avec sa passion pour la musique et Marie-Pierre nous a permis de connaître une partie de la vie de Guy Jourdan Résistant de la seconde Guerre Mondiale. Vi giver en stjerne for -velkomsten, hvor værtsparret viste huset og værelset frem. Marie-Pierre fortalte om stedet og husets historie. -det charmerende hus, renoveret med kærlig hånd, respekt for det oprindelige håndværk og med tanke på nutidens komfort. -værelset indrettet med miks af luksus og antikviteter. Vi fandt os hurtigt tilrette. -turistinformationen, forslag til ture, tip til seværdigheder og anbefalinger til lokale restauranter. Tak for hjælpen. -morgenmaden. Kaffe/te, brød, croissanter, hjemmelavede marmelader og yoghurt, frisk frugt, bretonsk smør og specialiteter. Uhmmm vi gik aldrig sultne fra bordet. -musikken. Jean spillede på flyglet under morgenmaden og fortalte undervejs om musikken og musikerne. Vi satte stor pris på Jeans viden om og smittende glæde ved musikken. -introduktionen til bretonske specialiteter, smør, salt og sukker i et utal af velsmagende kombinationer. Vi giver vores varmeste anbefaling.

The property itself is very charming, and the couple who are hosts were meant to perform this role. Their charm and helpfulness made our stay even better. This is an excellent location for visits to interesting destinations in the region, including St. Malo, Dinan, St. Briac-sur-Mer and Rennes. I’d strongly recommend this place.

We hebben hier 3 nachten gelogeerd. De locatie van de Manoir ligt perfect gelegen om verschillende locaties te bezoeken: Cap Frehel, Dinan, Dinard, Saint-Malo, Cancale,... alle bezienswaardigheden vlakbij. Het ontvangst was zéér hartelijk. Het ontbijt is super verzorg met oa zelfgemaakte confituren en crêpes. We werden ook getrakteerd op een stukje Tarte de Breton. De omkadering is prachtig en de tuin is zalig om in te vertoeven. We hebben tweemaal s avonds gepicknickt in de tuin: een baguette, kaasje en flesje wijn. Meer heb je niet nodig want bestek, borden en glazen waren ter beschikking. Elke morgen tijdens het ontbijt hebben we kunnen genieten van piano gespeeld door Jean. Heerlijk! De gastvrouw, Marie-Pierre, is een zeer enthousiaste dame, altijd bereid voor het geven van tips, uitleg of hulp. We logeerden in de Mozart kamer. Een zeer ruime en propere kamer met badkamer. Er werd dagelijks gepoetst. Dit verblijf heeft onze verwachtingen ruimschoots overtroffen. De gastvrijheid van Marie en Jean was de kers!
