A charming hotel right in the historic area of Dinan. Breakfast was amazing! The hospitality was kind and welcoming. You can enjoy wine in their bar area or in the outside patio. The hostess, Ludivine, is amazing and very welcoming. Upon our arrival she helped us find a parking spot, then she gave us a tour of the hotel and garden, she provided us with wine glasses and plates so we could enjoy our cheese and baguette along with a fine glass of wine in the garden. She made us feel like a part of her extended family. We have travelled a lot and have never felt more welcome. The hotel is very quaint and well situated. We highly recommend staying at Hotel de la Porte St Malo.

The staff is amazing. Machela in particular was so friendly and helpful. She made us feel special. The hotel is fantastic and it looks just like the pictures. Little patios with flowering plants are all around the hotel. Short walking distance to town with terrific restaurants. It was a highlight of our two week trip to France!
