We stayed for 4 nights over the Easter weekend, watching the motorcycle trial in Sant Joan de les Abadesses and sight seeing in the process. I had been here once before for an afternoon and was very impressed and vowed to return. We had a room with tremendous views and the facilities were pristine. What I would call a nice old-fashioned hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful but spoke very little English. Google Translate was a massive help. The room was clean large comfortable with doors to balcony which overlooked the car park car parking was free of charge. Hotel has a bar where drinks were available but no restaurant breakfast was continental with an excellent choice even had English breakfast tea although we were only there for one night while my partner was crossing the Pyrenees on...
