"Visually beautiful hotel with gorgeous gardens . On Sunday morning there was very good live music outside. Staff were all very friendly and helpful . Our room was stylish with very comfy beds and large modern bathroom. Only a few hangers in wardrobe but was no problem to ask for more . Would have appreciated better tea and coffee making facilities as there was just a pod machine to make espresso . I needed an iron and staff were very helpful, bringing it to our room . The breakfast was buffet style with the option of ordering hot food or yoghurt and fruit . I was reluctant to eat from the buffet as the food wasn’t covered and there were flies around . I ordered poached eggs on the first day but they were very undercooked, omelette second day, again undercooked . I found my best option to be yoghurt and fruits - toast and preserve . Tea and coffee were both good at breakfast too . I ended up enjoying this more than a cooked breakfast. Again staff really lovely . Hotel was undergoing some building work during our stay but that was no problem. "

"We found ourselves in Vic late at night after a rental car break down and had to find last-minute accommodations. Up Rooms Vic saved our day! The late-night hotel staff was AMAZINGLY HELPFUL -- I wish I had gotten her name. The room was lovely, breakfast was nice, the surrounding area was very walkable/runnable, and we were minutes from the train station the next morning."

"In summer very few dining options and property is definitely run down. No AC in rooms. It's definitely a winter only hotel. Staff tried their best and breakfast decent for short stays. Can get old if you don't eat pork like us. "
