"A beautiful property situated on the shore of a pond in the center of town. The villa is beautifully restored, and the adjacent restaurant has terrific views. The rooms are located in a nearby building. The rooms are modern and snazzy, perhaps a bit too much. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom large, but it was difficult, nearly impossible, to close and open the sliding door to the bathroom. By no means a show-stopper, but a bit more thought should have been put into designing the bathroom...

"Andorra's national language is Catalan, I understand that. I made the mistake of wishing the receptionist at the hotel 'good day' in Spanish when I arrived. He did not reply at all - not even in English - and stared at me. I don't believe this is the correct response. I would have thought that replying in English would have been a more appropriate reply to my aberration rather than silence, especially from a hotel receptionist. It reminded me of when I wished a shopkeeper 'good day' in the Basque country - an awkward silence. "
