Fantastic room and service, well presented and adapted to the government’s pandemic guidelines. Jessica was incredibly welcoming and clearly loves her work. We just wish we’d stayed longer.

Beautiful hotel and clean. Staff were very friendly and would take their time to talk with you while serving you.

The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Our room was spacious and well furnished. The shower was user friendly but took a little while to run hot. The meals were superb. It would have been a little difficult for an elderly person to have walked into the town and back as the hotel was located up a fairly steep hill, otherwise there there were no drawbacks and it's relative isolation from the town meant it was in a very quiet location. All in all an excellent experience.

Comfy beds, lovely view from top-floor bedroom. Tasty breakfast of whatever we wanted. Hostess was great company and even kindly dropped us off at an event venue to pick up our car.

My family and I stayed just one night but enjoyed the relaxed ambience of the hotel, found the staff very friendly and well trained. Dinner and breakfast excellent. Check in and out very easy.

This is a luxurious hotel with very good facilities particularly regarding sports, indoor and outdoor activities set in a wooded estate. Our room , on the first floor, was very comfortable and the heating was easily adjustable. There was a very good choice of eating places from a luxurious dinning room to bistro to cafe style snack area. The staff were without exception very friendly and helpful. We were attending a wedding which was being held early in the afternoon before normal check in time...

booked as an overnight stay as we returned back home after a holiday on Skye, a great hotel with really friendly efficient staff everywhere, nothing was too much trouble for anyone - loved the welcoming warm chocolate brownies on arrival.

Fabulous stay just for one night - lovely Hotel made very welcome when I arrived. Very well maintained and very comfortable and spacious room. Great location for the railway station. One of the best Hotel’s I have stayed in - and dog friendly. Will certainly return nothing not to like.

We booked a 5 night break at a special price and found that the offer was outstanding. The receptionist was friendly as were all the staff especially the breakfast lady in charge. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was small as was to be expected as it was an offer BUT the room was clean and tidy and tea and coffee together with shortbread biscuits EVERY day. An amazing stay for those who love wonderful design, warm hospitality, excellent food and beautiful scenery. We stayed for one night only, in the main house and it was a great relaxing time. The interiors of the house are what drew us to book, but the overall experience made us want to go back. The rooms are well appointed, beds comfortable and have lovely views of the surrounding highlands. Our room was downstairs, as we had a dog with us, and were beside the kitchen so there was some noise...

Absolutely fab stay. Maybe a bit more expensive than it should be for what’s offered. Room was bigger than expected and very clean. Wardrobe was small but it did the job for one night. Lighting was quite poor for getting ready and the vanity mirror is far too high to be useful. Bathroom was small but the shower was big and very good pressure. Basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) are provided. Tea and coffee also provided in the room. No parking on-site but there is a car park...

Having stayed at the Hotel over the years we were aware,this time that the dining arrangements are now so expensive as to make one of the restaurants not somewhere we would wish to eat . Other than that the hotel is still somewhere we would happily recommend for position, comfort and the amazing staff
