"Super spacious and clean room, it also had a small kitchenette with an assortment of glassware and cooking utensils which saved a lot of time during my stay. The bathroom came with more than enough variety’s of soaps and towels with extra bathroom essentials. The staff was very friendly right when I came in, they helped tremendously assisting me with towels for the outdoor pool, extra towels for my room and did not hesitate to answer all of my questions throughout my stay."
"The room was fine, however the door was quite an issue, it was very flimsy and extremely difficult to open. The bath tub looked like the bottom of the inside the tub was chipped and painted. There was only 1 extra blanket - should have at least had two since there are two queen sized beds. Other than that it was fine."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Havasu - London Bridge by IHG
8/10 Good
"Great location. A few of the ice makers were broken and there wasn’t anywhere to get water for drinking besides paying for bottled water. Otherwise was a great stay."
"If the property will be undergoing renovations, put that info somewhere so that people can decide to book or not. There was definitely renovation going on.
Don't be doing renovations on a holiday weekend. It was being renovated.
Drop the price if people will be subject to renovations going on. Price was not dropped.
Entire room door handle appeared to have been pryed off, then halfway put back on. Door was difficult to open and close and didn't seem completely secure.
This is why I will NEVER stay at Quality Inn again anywhere. The card to open the door has to be refreshed amost EVERY day. Apparently Quality Inns have not figured out the technology regarding door cards. This was and is still the case at Quality Inn in Page, AZ and now the same door card problem at this site in Parker, AZ.
If you're visiting Parker to boat on the Colorado river, be aware there is no boat parking at the hotel, and if you pull in to the parking lot you will have difficulty getting out since there is only on way in and out of the parking lot.
The guys doing renovations worked until about 7p.m. on a Sunday night, then had a drinking party about 20 feet from our room until almost midnight. What the hell?? People work on the building, then party in the parking lost for 4 hours???
Once you enter the room for complimentary breakfast, you will understand why I say "Why bother.""
"This hotel was filthy! The outside garbage upon entering the hotel, was always over flowing. The waste basket for dog poop, never emptied, over flowing with flies all around. I stayed in room 201 and it was like something out of a horror movie! We had to go to Walmart to buy Raid to get rid of the roaches that we saw. When spraying the room we pulled the beds forward and there was a condom wrapper behind the bed. We had a couple of other friends that stayed in different room and they were disgusted by things they saw as well! When they pulled their sheets, filthy matress, looked like someone was murdered there. One of the neighbor rooms next to them kept leaving their babies used diapers out in the hall. We saw a French fry at the bottom of the stairs for 3 days. It took 3 days for the staff to clean it!!! Front desk will only give you 2 towels at a time even if a family of 4 is in 1 room. Our bathroom was gross, the bathtub didn’t drain well so we had to shower while standing in our own dirty water. The ceiling of the bathroom had a little hole in it, probably where roaches hide. Most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in! We would have gone to a different hotel, but unfortunately it was memorial weekend so everything was booked. I’m not sure what the swimming pool was like, we didn’t bother for fear of catching AIDS! Do not stay here unless you want to risk catching a disease!"
"Room sofa was super dirty. Bed blanket was dirty with some black spots. Room front door had a gap on the bottom of the door. Any insect can crawling. Have to put a towel on the bottom of the door."
"We’ve been coming to the Nautical for over ten years and this last trip was very disappointing. The “beach” side of the resort is completely taken over by the inflatable water obstacles. Like the whole beach is a water park, which is not operated by the resort. It used to be much smaller (so it didn’t interfere with the beach), and each resort guest got one hour per day of your stay for free, but it’s no longer included in your resort fees. Such a disappointing waste of a beautiful beach that had views of the lake. Now the view is huge white blow ups. So the only area to float in is shared with all the boats. And if the boats rent the space, then it’s very limited. The pool is always fun, but it’s open to the public, free of charge, as long as they are 21. Hmmm? Our resort fees were $39 a day, but the pool is free to the public? The Turtle Bar didn’t open due to wind (actually overheard staff complaining it would be dead because of the wind) but we were told we were welcome to sit there and order take out from the restaurant, but no servers. If it was because of the wind, then why were we allowed to eat there? It wasn’t that windy. Our phone didn’t work, toilet kept clogging, and the water was shut off due to a main water leak. Each time I expressed disappointment, I got a blank stare. We got one night refunded because the water was cut off, but still charged all the resort fees. The resort guests are not a priority, felt more like an inconvenience. Definitely a locals spot."
"Our room was on the 2nd floor facing west, the train wakes you up around 10ishpm along with another one around 11pm. Our room was not clean, it appeared our room was just not well kept. Most of our time was away from our hotel, with family at the local casino resort, next time we’ll definitely consider paying for the casino resort."
