This haveli with its beautiful garden makes a perfect base to explore Jaipur. There is a roof top terrace where you can sit and read and there is the added bonus of excellent Wi-Fi and you are able to receive Western News channels through the television. The staff are friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere of the hotel is of relaxed friendliness. There is also the added bonus of an excellent cafe within the hotel which serves vegetarian food at a very reasonable cost.

Stunning hotel. Very good location. Within walking distance of the pink city. The restaurant and cafe are stunning. The pool is a little small but the rooftop is stunning to watch the sunset. The staff are amazing and the rooms are too. The bathrooms are clean and modern. The hotel feels like a sanctuary amongst the madness of Jaipur

Tradition meets modern luxury. From the chandelier that greets you to marble‑lined courtyards perfect for long strolls, every corner feels magical. Our spotless room offered unmatched comfort, with air‑conditioning and sleep quality that set a new standard, plus breathtaking night views of the palace lit up in grandeur. The staff’s warmth elevated the experience, especially Akash at Shrot restaurant, who made our meals feel personal and memorable. The hotel is in a good position in Jaipur close to the railway station and restaurants. The check in process was quick and easy as was the checking out. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained with everything as it should be. I found the front desk staff to be very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

A 280 year old home in the midst of a teeming Jaipur bazaar. Open courtyard with rooms on all four sides - 4 floors. Decor wonderful - breakfast offerings unique to India lots of choices- eggs - no meat.
The only hitch is you can’t be dropped off at the hotel - you call they send a rickshaw to a designated landmark. Don’t worry it works. Be prepared though for authentic bazaar colony/neighborhood
With cows and monkeys.

We loved staying at the Umaid Mahal. It has an Indian charm and most helpful staff. We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop terrace for drinks and dinner. Local music and dancers added a pleasant atmosphere. It was simple to get taxis and transport from the hotel to anywhere. Air conditioned rooms were clean, spacious and had a great shower in the bathroom. To be recommended as a good spot from which to explore Jaipur. Do note that the hotel is not actually in walking distance of...

Lovely hotel with a more traditional feel. Everything was good. No complaints other than the roof top restaurant could do with more lighting. Otherwise great hotel and would highly recommend
