"Everything from check-in to the stay in a beautiful, spacious well prepared room to the checkout was perfect. My wife and I stayed only one night as we were traveling but commented we hope our next place to stay was this nice. I’d highly recommend this place to my friends and family if they ever travel this way."

"Staff was a bit standoffish at check-in. We felt like we received a “less than” greeting since we’d booked through a 3rd party. The staff member told us due to “the type of booking,” we weren’t eligible to PAY for an early check in. This was at 2:30. Official check in was at 3. 30 minutes later when the magical time hit, we were informed of the $18 amenities fee. Fire pits were off due to high winds and the pool was busy with college students who came and went while we were there. Grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed cornhole and the pool, but it seemed weird to pay to use all of it when restaurant customers and local students could do the same for free. I realized later that I’d left my sunglasses downstairs. When my husband went to the front desk to ask if they’d been turned in, the gentleman he asked shrugged his shoulders without even faking an effort to look for them and said “not to my knowledge.” The room was beautiful, the beds were comfy and the property was lovely….but we won’t be back because of the sub par service. We were so excited to stay there but were let down. "
