This is a very old place, and the price is low and may restaurants nearby in parking lot. If you are looking for a low-budget place in a safe area and near some things this is a good place.

I must say this property is a lot older but for what I paid i absolutely cannot complain. The highlight of property was the staff. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Always cleaning the rooms. If I was on a strict budget I would absolutely stay here again

For the price, you just can’t complain too much. The staff were excellent, the hot tub DID work, and the bed was very clean & comfortable. Not so great: the fitness room is pretty run down, our bathroom was ok clean but needed a deep scrub, and our room phone didn’t work, nor did our TV. There’s also no elevator to the 2nd floor, which wasn’t a problem for us, but just FYI.

For three nights stay we ended up in four different rooms. Beds were broken in the first - keys wouldn’t work in the second - couldn’t get into the room had to sleep in a third room with none of our things- then finally got back into our room. Staff was amazing. The maintenance guy was very helpful, they were apologetic. There was no manager on duty and the owner was non-responsive. It could be a decent hotel if the owner would put a little bit of money in time and care into it. Probably losing all of his good staff.

We were first given a key to an occupied room that we went into and quickly shut the door. Then we were given a room on the second floor (no elevator) and were given incorrect directions to the opposite side of the hotel. We found a maintenance worker who took us to the other side of the hotel to find our room. Our keys did not work. We had to go back downstairs to the front desk to get them working. The hotel is rundown. The common areas such as the halls and stairs were absolutely filthy. The room wasn’t bad. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. The rooms and the furniture were also run down and we did not want to sit on the chair or couch because they were in such bad condition. We will not stay here again.

Overall our stay was okay, but we were unable to control the temperature in the room and the TV signal was intermittent even though there were no storms in the area. The breakfast was good expect for the last day of our stay when they had run out of food with an hour left of service to go.

This hotel is definitely old and dated, but nevertheless was clean and comfortable. Even though my room was right near an outside door and vending machine, it was still very quiet. The bed was comfortable and I was able to get good sleep. If you’re on a tight budget and need a decent place to stay, I think Ashmore is a good option.

It is a budget stay and for the price it was good. More attention to cleaning and upkeep suggested, but the bed was comfy and a good sleep was what we needed. Shower was hot even though the shower head needs replaced. Some wallpaper damage was unsightly in the bathroom. But the room was large.

The manager here is wonderful. Upon checking in, we did have a slight issue with another member of the staff. Our room reservation for 6 people had been changed somehow from a queen suite (2 queen's with a pullout couch & kitchenette) to a regular king room. When we discovered the mistake and tried to change the room, he argued that I had made the error in booking. When I showed him the receipt, he said that all the queen suites were full but there was a queen room available. He was extremely rude about the whole incident. When we saw the manager the next morning and informed her of what had happened. She immediately apologized for his behavior. She also allowed our family to eat breakfast, even though it was about 10 min past past the time the dining room was open because he had also told us the wrong time for the breakfast hours. She wrote down our name and information and offered us compensation at the hotel if we were to need a place to stay in that area again. She did her best to make reparations for the actions and attitude of the errant staff member. The hotel itself is dated, but clean and well-maintained. Overall, we would stay here again.

Horrible experience. Both A/C units barely worked. Had to buy a fan from Walmart to even get the air moving. Both TV's didnt work, wouldn't turn on or coonect to the dish. Couldn't find an employee or get through to the front desk by phone. Neither phone in our room worked, and when I tried calling by cell phone, all I got was the line busy tone. Multiple phone calls by myself and my wife. Couldn't find the WIFI password, and guess what... Couldn't ask the front desk for the WIFI password, cause no one was around. Stay at your own risk. The ONLY good thing about this hotel was the restaurants and Walmart literally being in walking distance.
