"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lakehouse! The whole experience was top notch and even with a slight mix up, they went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. It was a surprise stay for my wife's birthday. I reserved dinner at the restaurant in the hotel, Rose Tavern. The service and food was amazing! The front desk service was tremendous. I run a small business and I know what it takes to serve customers at a high standard. The Lakehouse on Canandaigua Lake will be an expierience and stay to remember! Thank you for making my wifes stay so special!"

"A very busy night - staff was non stop busy for sure. Tipped everyone I could. The hotel worked well for us for quick one night stay on a roadtrip with kids. Kids enjoyed the pool in the early morning - the night before was too busy. Morning breakfast had run out of most tasty items by 8am - so get there early. Only bad thing to report - my car was dinged in the parking lot by someone who didn't know how to park...I would skip this hotel on our next trip just for this reason."

"Cleanliness was good and the pillows were comfortable but that’s about the only positive I can share. We arrived late and were placed in a room in a separate building behind the main hotel. Maybe I missed it in the description somewhere, but I didn’t know this was an option. This second building was rundown. I would not have felt safe if it had been just myself and my daughter. There was a parking lot outside the window with no barrier at all; a car could have easily driven right through on to the bed. Bathroom was very dark. Breakfast area was small and the coffee was not good. I have never stayed at a Country Inn and Suites before but it was the location we needed. I hope to never have to stay here again."

"The Hampton Inn in Penfield provides exceptional service at the front desk, as well as a quiet, comfortable and spacious room. I had to ask the front desk to accept an Amazon delivery for my elderly sister who lives nearby, which they cheerfully did. At the last minute, I had to extend my stay for several days when she was hospitalized. Not only were they able to keep me in the same room, they went out of their way to find a Diet Coke when she was discharged and none were in the cooler. Finally, they were gracious and understanding when I explained that we had accidentally spilled a drink on the sheets and mattress on my last night. The kindness, support and friendliness made a very difficult week significantly easier. That's worth a ton of loyalty!"
