"Restaraunt was closed when we checked in. Breakfast was ok but overpriced. "

"The breakfast at the Spruce Cafe in the hotel was excellent. Location also excellent. Overall loved our stay. Only 2 minor issues: The ice was in a bag which was a solid mass you had to bang on the countertop to break up. And one elevator was down the whole time we were there. But the staff were very accommodating and helpful."

"We stayed in the East Tower. Room was very dated and very beat up. Marks in walls, furniture and doors. No fan in the bathroom and no ability to change the room temperature. The suite rooms are not large and the pull out couch was so noisy we pulled it off the couch and placed it on the floor. Only one elevator was working during our stay and waits to go up and down were extremely (10-20mins) long. The hotel was obviously very top notch when it originally opened but it's well passed the time for upgrades; especially with the nightly rate. Pros were the pool and free/cheap parking. Fridge and Kettle in the room. Also great access to the Richmond Night Market and Skytrain."

"AC wasn't working on a 80-degree day, and window won't open. When we told the staff, they sent up a mediocre fan that only circulated the hot air inside the room. It was like sleeping in a sauna, Location is great, but the stay was not comfortable at all."
