"Not bad hotel .room showing bit of sge as bit of black mould in grout on bathroom . Had good which was good apart from hair in pizza .but as compensation gave us a couple pf free drinks .all staff were lovely"

"We needed a couple of days off from our usual routine. The place is wonderful and well maintained. Good sized room, very clean with helpful and smiley staff! What has let it down was the food served in the restaurant. This place would be an absolute gem with some home made proper food. "

"Hotel was situated next to the river and although very close to the airport it was quiet and very scenic. The rooms were a little dated although our shower pressure was amazing. Evening meal was a bit hit and miss. I wasn’t impressed with the price or quantity of mine but others said their meal was nice. The breakfast however was amazing and the gentleman running it was extremely organised and accommodating to our needs. Definitely worth the money. "

"The staff and main building were excellent; however, I was in courtyard in an annex out of shot of lovely sales picture. It was an accessible needs room (I assume due to hotels.com booking) but no cheaper than direct booking. The tv was on a shelf at ceiling height so difficult to watch unless standing. The tap fell off but luckily slotted back on and worked with care. The room door was an internal stable type door so had no insulation or sound proofing meaning people accessing a storage room next door seemed to be in the room along with phone conversations. It was also slightly concerning to come back and find a Land Rover in court yard partially blocking room access followed later by listening to engine ticking over . In fairness for what I wanted the hotel served its purpose; however, for slightly more and an uber ride I could have got sound proofing from airfield plus a pool. It all boiled down to a taxit and convenience "
