"We didn't have breakfast so know review on this. Room spotless and comfortable. Hotel is in great location. They were a bit pushy one night during to stay in to us getting food, we were asked 4 times within a short period of time, we hadn't asked for food we am had just gone for a drink in reception area. "

"We had a lovely stay at Horsley Lodge! The food was absolutely excellent, beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The views from the property were truly stunning and made for such a relaxing atmosphere. The room itself was clean and comfortable, though the bedding and air in the room had a slightly closed-up scent, as if they hadn’t been aired for a while. It wasn’t a major issue, just something we noticed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return."

"Staff were really friendly. Plenty of parking (£6). Electric charger in Harvester across the road. Rooms really clean. Breakfast good variety, well stocked and hot."

"A heritage hotel with interesting history as a bank and courthouse, amazing staircase and overlooked by the cathedral, walk to restaurants in city centre. Quiet location but limited metered on street parking. Cosy rooms, comfortable and good quality beds. Cooked breakfast but would have liked to see fresh juices and fruit as healthy alternatives. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Would definitely stay again."
