"Large, clean, quiet room on 8th floor. Comfortable bed. Spacious lobby area with lots of seating and a coffee machine with plenty of options. Outstanding staff, helped us with everything from holding the elevator door open for me when I was holding two cups of coffee to printing out documents sent to us at the last minute. There were restaurants, bars, a couple of small groceries and cafes on our block or within a 5 minute walk. The area is not as frightening as many reviews have made it out to be. For sure some sketchy people and sketchy smells but nothing out of the ordinary in a big city and not much different from what you’ll encounter in the much more upscale Union Square. "

"The hotel was totally fine. But beware of the resort fee which wasn't made clear at booking- they add $25 per day at check out. Was using for business and didn't use any of the amenities."

"Great location but very basic hotel. Big queues for check in because you need to room card to even use the hotel bathroom so if you haven’t checked in yet or have checked out it’s a hassle. Definitely not a smooth check in compared to other hotels but does the job for a central hotel near fisherman’s wharf."

"You get what you pay for. This Travelodge on So Airport consistently offer the best room prices in the area, and the rooms were habitable. Paint coming off the walls in small spots, 2 lights weren't working, but the bed was clean as was the bathroom. Parking is very difficult to find after 9:00pm. The bald, young, slim, night clerk has horrendous customer service skills - I walked up to him to ask about late checkout times. He was on his cell phone, asked me to wait a minute, walked outside, and proceeded to continue his personal phone conversation for over 5 minutes while leaving me to wait. I walked away, he saw me walk away, and didn't even acknowledge me. But again, I knew what to expect at $55 a night while the other motels and hotels were averaging $80-$100 per night."
