"Everything fine except when I was seatrd on the toilet my private parts were touching the water in toilet. I had to take a shower after each time I used the toilet... Probably, the water level should be adjusted if possible."

"overall experience was ok. It was a cool experience and only that. The room looked cool but it was dusty. The bathroom smelled like pee was soaked into the wooden floors. The a/c was a bit musty. There was no beef that was promised on the website. The Japanese dinner and breakfast consisted of fish and more fish so if you’re not a fan of fish, it would be hard for you to stomach. The staff were very nice and helpful though. I had many questions and they were able to answer all of them."

"Lovely view from our room. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor bath. Buffet breakfast was amazing with a large variety of options. We stayed there for 2 nights and had two different kaiseki meals. We also loved how easy it was to get here from Kyoto station. "
