We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this hotel. Michael, the owner was friendly and attentive throughout our stay and was a source of excellent information about places to see in Bruges and a variety of restaurants to try. The accommodation is excellent and kept to a high standard of comfort and cleanliness. The house is tastefully decorated and has an interesting history. Fabulous place to stay.
We were in the newer part of the hotel -- possibly a new building, or a refurbished old one -- but it had been thoughtfully designed and beautifully put together. The walkway to get there went outside, and was only partially covered -- so you might get wet in the rain, although I noticed a stack of umbrellas at reception!
Everything else was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic and included three huge blocks of Belgian chocolate and several bottles of fizz, if you wanted...

What a find! This hotel is small and cosy and ideally situated with just a 5 minute walk from the main market square. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast had a good range with fresh pastries, continental range and also full English, and even champagne which was a lovely touch. The room was very stylish with all the facilities you require including a jacuzzi bath. The car park is also an added bonus (although you have to book in advance). Would highly recommend this hotel...

What a lovely hotel. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Great breakfast with fresh ingredients. Very comfortable bar. Five minute walk to one of the main squares. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We were in a "comfort" room which is a walk through a car park and up to the annexe, so not in the main building, but still very comfortable. Like everything in life, you get what you pay for.

Easily the best small boutique hotel we’ve stayed at. Central location, beautiful decor, best breakfast ever! All in all a fantastic hotel. Be prepared for smaller rooms in Bruges. It’s part of the ‘old world’ charm. Our room was a Comfort Plus room and was perfectly adequate. Would stay here again in a heart beat!!!

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely young lady who helped us with our bags and made us feel incredibly welcomed. She began to tell us about the history of the hotel and show us some of its rooms which were absolutely stunning due to the new owners redesigning from top to bottom.
While our bags were on their way up to our room we were relaxing in the bar talking to our host and enjoying a complementary glass of cava. This was just the perfect start to a relaxing birthday retreat.

A very charming boutique B&B. We had the attic bedroom which has lovely views over the surrounding roof-tops. The room was very comfortable with a roll top bath in the bedroom. There is a nice breakfast room which has tea/coffee making facilities. As it was low season we had breakfast in the next door property. There was a good selection of bread, pastries etc and the choice of cooked egg and bacon. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and we will certainly stay here again.

Cannot think of one flaw and I've stayed at hotels all over the world. Beautiful hotel in a stunning location, only to be matched by the warmth of the hotel staff and the character of the rooms. I was going to stay in an AirBnb (I try to avoid chain hotels) but watched the movie "In Bruges" and saw a great deal on Expedia. It ended up being a brilliant decision. Staff are extremely warm, even bringing tea/waffles to my room very late at night. Only regret is I could only stay one night. Will...

We drove to Brugge from Canterbury. We used the sat nav to find our hotel. Unfortunately, there were roadworks on the street leading to the hotel. The sat nav was confused which meant we drove round in circles for quite a while. Eventually I rang the hotel. The hotel manager came to meet us. He took the wheel and drove us to the hotel. He unloaded our bags and parked the car. By the time we had checked in and got to our room our bags were in the room and our coats were hanging in the...

The hotel set near centre of Bruges opposite the canal. Walkable from the train station. The interior of the hotel is beautifully decorated in a old worldly style with roaring fires in the lounge and in quite room. We had wooden flooring in our bedrooms (a most for hotel hygiene), good styled rooms with a nice rug. Staff attentive. Red wine at the right temperature, breathed and not measured (not small). We all felt as soon as we walked into the hotel 'we have arrived in Bruges and it is...
