"Really attractive and nicely furnished converted old building. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was just about perfect. Garai is a lovely village and has two magnificent restaurants within a 10 minute walk, ideal for the tasting menu with accompanying wines. A little fitness is needed as the walk up to the hotel from the car park is quite strenuous and there are a few flights of stairs if you are in one of the upper rooms. "Lovely quiet county retreat. The staff were so nice and food delicious. Wonderful area for hiking but note that wooded walks only straight from the hotel. Only a short drive to get to more open hiking. Great towns nearby too."
