"This was simply a great Hotel/Inn to stay at. Staff were super friendly and nice, beds comfy, breakfast delicious and if you're a history nerd, it's right next to the Roman walls.

"Breakfast was good and the room was very comfortable. We had poor service for an evening meal we booked, after waiting 20 minutes for a server to come to take our order we had to find someone to speak to"

"It is not often that a hotel becomes the highlight of your vacation. THORNBUrY IS THE EXCEPTION TO THAT RULE!
We felt to transported to hundreds of years in the past in terms of the architecture and the style of interior furnishings. At the same time, it had all of the service amenities, quality of fixtures and furnishings, food anf service that is expected of a five star hotel.
Well worth the price of our stay, we so wish to return."
