"comfortable, clean, nice views around, amazing location, just down from the hotel there is a Snowdonia slate trail. Also the pub the hotel has delicious local beers which are great to enjoy after hiking all day long. The hotel has a long history dating back to 14th century "
"Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch.
Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean.
The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons..."
"Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! I’d recommend bringing some shopping with you, as the nearest shop is around a 30 minute walk away, however if you don’t mind driving it’s only 5/10 mins down the road to the Morrisons or coop!
Tip: If you fancy a Chinese on your stay Avoid taste garden in the town centre AWFUL food, didn’t eat any of it! I’d go to the other one just up the road from it! "
