"Clean room and pleasant staff"

"Nice quiet location. Ample parking. Cozy and clean room. Handy local pub, shop and butchers across the road. Good freshly cooked breakfast."

"Excellent property….vey well managed, beautifully presented, very clean and functional. Staff were extraordinary with a particular shout out to Mel who went above and beyond to make us welcome and is a beautiful cook as well. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this property. 5 stars is not enough."

"Great hotel, my room was small, but the hotel is in the center of town and that worked for me. The waiting staff were great and helpful and stopped for chats as I was travelling/eating on my own."

"As usual the Taunton Holiday Inn Express was excellent. Immaculate room, good breakfast, easy parking and helpful staff."

"A nice place to stay with family. Kids loved the place."

"Clean, comfortable, relatively quiet and at a great price. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"This is the second time I have stayed there in last couple of mths, lovely suite we stayed in, lovely pub and good breakfast. Will definitely stay there again."

"Clean and tidy. Bedroom smelt like someone had smoked in there before me. Parking good. No staff (which was advertised to be fair and the codes worked!). No hot water for the morning shower and no one to alert. Overall, average but ok for a place to sleep for the night."

"Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all."

"So clean, our room was immaculate so were all the other areas of the hotel. Really lovely stay, fabulous breakfast and dinner!"

"Great stay for 1 night when heading south."

"Comfortable accommodation in an interesting historic property"

"The location was charming and convenient with safe free parking. The owners/ managers were very nice and catered to our every need."

"Really enjoyable stay. The WiFi (in our room) was very flaky, and not really working that well. Mind you we were in the very top floor so maybe that was the issue. Overall a very enjoyable stay."

"Lovely place to stay, grounds lovely and room clean. Restaurant very busy so would advise to book early if you want an evening meal. Food was excellent."
