Clean decent size room with very comfortable bed , good en-suite bathroom with large bath and shower. Pleasant evening meal Fish and Chips with Cheesecake to finish. Breakfast plenty with all the extras on offer such as cereal/cakes juice etc. We enjoyed our one night stay.

This is a historic old property but has been lovingly cared for. Food was great and staff were excellent. Bed was very comfy. Room and hotel was clean. We enjoyed our stay here. Parking is very tight.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we had (family room) was tired and well used. Poorly set out, occupants of the double room had to go through the twin room to access the bath room. Unfortunately very noisy hot and smelly due the kitchen extractor fan located outside the bedroom window. Breakfast although served by helpful waitress was poor, I x small rasher of bacon, a small what looked like and tasted like cheap brand sausage. Toast was thin tasteless cheap (45p) supermarket loaf. 1 large tomato Some beans and a few mushrooms. Poached was nice though. The Hotel is unfortunately not located in a nice area of Bridgewater, maybe it was because the fair was in town but is very loud. Characterful though

The property was clean and tidy, but a little tired, and the central heating wasn't working in the room; however, there was a small electric radiator available, which made the room bearable after an hour or so. The staff were very welcoming and helpful when I arrived, which was well before booking in time.

Lovely pub/restaurant. Room was lovely and spacious very comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant steaks were cooked to perfection. Breakfast was very good.

An interesting hotel housed in a group of medieval buildings. Lots of exposed beams and narrow stairs. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were very comfortable for the one night we spent there. The food is ok. Nothing to complain about at this price point. Very good value.

A gem of a hotel

Lovely hotel, staff really helpful and friendly. Breakfaat was great as was our evening meal. Chosen as we needed a dog friendly hotel, and this was the most dog friendly i have stayed in.
