"What an amazing hotel. Staff friendly and professional too. Delicious food for Dinner and Breakfast. Very handy for a gig across Tuesday Market Place at Alive Corn Exchange King's Lynn. Disabled parking at the front of the hotel which was a huge bonus. The only disappointment was no accessible toilet on the ground floor. My friend struggled to get up a steep step with two heavy fire doors to get through. Not ideal. It's a shame to mention this, as overall we had a great memorable stay at The Duke's Head, but felt it was important to point this out for others who have accessibility concerns. "Run away from the "KIng William" room 109 and Expedia. The shower controls were not working. The on/off control was not working so as you turned it, it went from off to trickle to off and anywhere in between. The hot cold went from cold to maybe warm, to off to trickle. What the heck. The second night I was allowed to go to room 106 so that I could take a better shower... newer controls but no hot water at all. On to room 105 with a working shower. If we had booked the place ourselves, we could have had a refund and left. We felt like we had no option to leave because there was no one to talk to at Expedia. the walls in 109 were also paper thin. We could hear the people next door as if they were in the room with us even though they were using a conversational volume. We even knew when they blew their nose. The second morning we left without even eating our "free" breakfast ~ that's how badly I wanted to get the heck out of there. I do have to say, though, the staff did what they could and were very friendly. I will never book thru Expedia again."

"Excellent check in with staff quick and easy. Very nice and clean pod with parking next to it . Only issue is would be nice to.have basic essentials e.g Tea Coffee bedding for sofa bed and handsoap apart from that would highly recommend. "
