Helpful staff, nice restaurant. Stayed in room 4, nicely presented room with adequate on suite, a nice peaceful sleep and a good breakfast in the morning.
Would definitely stay again 👍👍
Stayed one night for work, staff really friendly and both evening meal and breakfast were very good. A little bit if road noise but if in the area would stay again.
Cosy rooms above a lovely pub restaurant. Rooms can be a bit small but easily manageable depending on which one you get. TV's though are very small so just used my laptop on sky go as the guest WiFi is quite good.
Good value for money. Single bedroom blind needs option to tie up when window open.
Enjoyed Italian meal outside in evening.
Room quite small but provides all you need for short stay.

Nice place but could do with a tidy up
Small room. Bed comfortable.
Stain on the carpet.
Window blinds broken.
Mirrors placed with no sockets near for hairdryer etc.
When I contacted the hotel for early check-in (noon) I wasn’t aware that I had to pay for this in cash. Had to choose breakfast on arrival too, which I didn’t know what I would like at that time but I had to book something. We were the only ones at breakfast the following morning. Quality of breakfast was poor.
Cider on tap not available and only bottled cider was a single choice or alcohol free. Very limited options.
Marks on bed coverlet - harmless but did not create good impression. Plug missing from bathroom Otherwise fine for one-night stay. Restaurant dinner very good.
I found the shower difficult to control, found the water very hot despite doing everything to lessen the temperature.
Broken slat on bedroom blind, also doorway into bathroom missing a door edge. A comfortable stay, would book again.
Received a call early on the check in date to say that the inn was closing at 5pm and that nobody would be there to check me in, and no food available. They agreed to leave the key in my room. No issues with the room which was clean and comfortable, got up early on Monday to go to work nearby and nobody downstairs so no breakfast available, apparently I needed to prebook it. I left the key in the door as I found it, all in all a bit of a strange experience
We stayed in room 4, which was facing the road. It was noisy due to traffic. We didn’t sleep very well due to the sound of running water all night. We think it could be the men’s urinal as we were above that. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke as you walk through the door to the bedrooms as the access was outside. The metal steps up to the rooms had ice and were considered a slip hazard because there wasn’t any salt put down. We don’t consider it value for money at £89 without breakfast.
It was clean and the food was good.
The staff were excellent and checked us in very quickly. The ambiance in this Inn was exceptional and customers (locals from the village) were extremely friendly. Unfortunately I hadn’t explained (when booking) that I had mobility problems although I can manage stairs and steps with care). We were booked into room 4 which is up a flight of metal stairs on the outside of the property. I managed this one step at a time. The room wasn’t very big and had a step down from the hall, and a high step up to the compact shower room. There wasn’t any room to spare and it was difficult to get round the bed with two adults in the room. The bed was very low and I had difficulty getting up. We had the lighter breakfast. One porridge which was delicious but the other breakfast advertised as a choice of cereals (and to be honest there WAS a choice) but as an elderly adult I sort of expected some healthy choice - maybe weetabix, fruit and fibre or muesli. The choice of Coco Pops, Corn flakes or Rice Crispiest wasn’t the most interesting or flavoursome. The service by the staff was impeccable and on reflection I should a) have requested a disabled room and b) asked if there were any other cereals available. Overall the price of £100 just for the room and £8.95 extra for breakfast (each) was a bit too much. We were only staying one night so it was manageable but we won’t be staying again.

Wisbech accommodation
Room was compact and although there was a rail for hanging clothes no hangers were provided. A fan was available as the weather was hot but we still had to have the window open which meant we could hear the traffic from the estate. However the bed was comfortable.
