"The room was perfect! The hotel staff and owner were so kind and very attentive. Their breakfast was really nice and they made sure you had fresh eggs if you wanted them. I found Villa Duse as one of the best places we stayed in Italy. It is a little off the beaten path but that is what made it so charming!"

This was our second year at Villa Duse. We were not disappointed, receiving the same level of attention from the highly attentive and welcoming staff. We cannot commend them enough not least for their consistency. The hotel offers a great location located in a quiet residential area, with exellent local restaurants and the Villa Borghese within easy walking distance. This is not for those who want a city centre stay, but the hotel is highly recommended to those who seek a relaxing and quiet...

The attentiveness of Marco, the proprietor of the Suites Trastevere, prior to our arrival, was a sign of the excellent service we were going to get.
Despite our late arrival, Irene greeted us with a smile and and a well needed cold drink! There is nothing I can say to fault the experience we had. Our room was spacious, clean and adequately furnished. The communal breakfast table was great as you were able to speak to other travellers and share stories. Access to the kitchen 24 7 meant it didn't...

This is a very stylish hotel in the Ghetto part of the Centro Storico in Rome. As it is next to the Synagogue and the Jewish schools security is very tight and taxis etc have to drop you off outside the security cordon about 100m from the hotel. Very well located for walking to sights in the Centro Storico such as the Pantheon, but also a 10-15 minute walk to the Captilone Hill and the Forum. The breakfasts are wonderful. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Massimo.

Around 20/25 minutes walking distance away from both the colluseum and Trevi Fountain so was in the perfect location! We also walked to the Vatican City from the hotel and took around an hour! Ice cream shop opposite was amazing along with the pizzaria next door and the many restaurants near by.
Would reccomend!

From the minute we arrived to the moment we left this hotel was amazing, the staff were really friendly and great information , Marco the Barman with his amazing knowledge of cocktails. Real cosy hotel with only 48 rooms, great location around 15 minutes to Parthenon and 20 minute walk to the coliseum. When we return to Rome we will be returning

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Walking distance between Vatican and Rome centre so it was perfect. Lots of places to eat and the street markets were also around the corner. Loved the buffet breakfast and our triple room was very spacious.

Stayed as a couple on romantic trip. Room gorgeous with lovely views, just perfect, beautifully decorated clean and spotless . Great atmosphere in and around the hotel - next to chic restaurants and bars. Great for a evening walk down to the Colosseum and other points of interest. Very close to Metro station (metro very easy to use and cheap too!) I love this place so much and we will be returning. Breakfast just delightful !

I enjoyed staying at this boutique hotel very much. The location is great, the staff are excellent and the room I had (a superior room) was very comfortable and had the standard suite of amenities required. The breakfast, which I purchased with the room, was very well done. It's a fancy sort of place
and treats guest well. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent central hotel, very comfortable and classic. Beautiful decor. Being close to the famous sights eg 10 minutes walk to Trevi fountain, we were concerned that it might be noisey but very calm and quiet. Definitely recommend this delightful hotel, a great base for a trip to Rome. A lovely buffet breakfast.

Lovely Italian boutique hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Very good value for money just one street from the Colosseum. However if your booking confirmation indicates annex, cancel immediately and phone Expedia. We had one night in the annex, stairs only to first floor and room depressingly dark

This hotel was ideal for our short stay in Rome. The easy access to Termini and the Metro was handy, and with a great range of restaurants nearby there was no need to walk back in to central Rome if we didn't want to for our evening meal. It is a good 15 min walk in to Central Rome which didn't bother us, but may be too much for some. Stefania was a fabulous, helpful and friendly host. She made us feel very welcome. The room we had was a good size, exceptionally clean, light and airy. Really...
