"The Was clean and well presented. The staff are lovely chatty and very helpful. The breakfast was tasty and made with good quality products. The pub it self is a lovely little pub and with a good selection of drinks for its size."

"If you like peace and quiet tucked away in nice scenery then this is an excellent little B&B, the host Justin was super friendly and knowledgeable of the area, always had time to stand and chat about anything making you feel extremely welcome. Rooms were very clean, tidy and well maintained. The cooked breakfast was very nice, also a nice selection of cereals, pastries, fruit, yogurt, juice etc. There are a few pubs etc for food local for evening meals etc, Justin can give you all the information and recommendations. Will definitely be staying here again when in the area."

"We stayed at the Brace of Pheasants for one night and it was really lovely. The room was big, airy and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was lovely. We ate dinner in the pub and it was absolutely delicious. I am coeliac and Matt, the owner, was very knowledgeable when helping me to decide what to have. There were several choices for me and I can thoroughly recommend the lamb. My husband was on crutches when we stayed and the staff were very thoughtful and helpful. We would very much like to stay again if we get the opportunity."

"Check in was easy, room was ok. Everything you needed, everything worked. My only comment would be how hot the room (3) was. Absolutely stifling, quite possibly above the kitchen. Could feel the heat coming through the floor. It was only around 20C during the previous afternoon. I can only imagine how it would be on a hotter day. Breakfast was nice and the staff were great. It's a lovely hotel in a lovely village."
