The owner and family members were very friendly and provided great service. Our room was very clean, large and comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing, featuring simple and tasty local foods. Our 3 day stay here will be one of the highlights of our 2 week visit to the Netherlands!"

"This hotel is special, great staff, nice modern rooms and bathrooms, superb restaurant and bar. We stayed for six nights, was meant to be seven but staff were okay with the shortened stay, helpful in amending the booking and a room refund. Free parking was a bonus. Having an in-house bar and restaurant meant you could easily access great coffee, drinks and excellent classy meals. We come to the Netherlands regularly and would be back here in a heartbeat."

"Rooms are very clean and comfortable. No AC so the hot weather made the room quite warm but not too bad. Breakfast was good, and there is a very nice bike/walking path next to the hotel. Quiet area. Definitely recommend."

"The room was a bit more basic and bathroom less modern than other Van der Valk hotels but was well located for my husband to do a “Z” Parkrun! Added bonus was the inclusion of entry to the bird park the hotel is next to - we really enjoyed our visit there in the morning!"

"Made a genuine mistake on booking as booked twin room and used my Expedia credit. Expedia really helpful and thought it would not be a problem to change so booked second room correctly to show goodwill within 2 hours. Expedia, a colleague staying there before and me calling hotel direct could not persuade hotel to cancel second room. So ended up with 2 rooms. Would never stay there again or recommend."
