We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel - Piet was so very helpful and friendly. They contacted us before our stay to welcome us; the room was ready when we arrived; the amenities were great. The hotel is very quiet and only about 2 km away from the castle. The hotel let us use their bikes to travel around the area. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Thank you Piet and Marianne!

Great stay

Piet and Marianne were very thoughtful hosts. They were proactive, responsive and in touch through the netite experience. The compound is very beautiful and peaceful. With the canals and open fields, it was a serene place. The compoind includes campgrounds and the campers were very quiet and respectful. Hughly recommned!

We loved it! The staff is so nice and helpfull! The rooms were perfect, beds very comfy. Also the ac in the room was a nice extra! Honestly no flaws, we would deff come back here and i will recomend it to anyone looking for a nice and quiet stay with loads of nature and utrecht just around the corner. Haarzuilens is only 5 min away and the restaurants there are also amazingly priced and lots of yummy food. All in all, we had a blast and lovely nights rest there.

Excellent experience

Stayed four nights and everything worked as planned. Very nice room, clean and modern. Very well equipped shared kitchen, with designated shelves in the fridge and freezer for each room. Lots of small freebies to make you feel welcome like free minibar and cup soup in case you arrive after the shops close. There was even a bottle of red wine waiting on the table in the room. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay again if we ever return to the Netherlands.

Très bon séjour

Très bon séjour, hôte sympathique (parlant bien français). Cadre bucolique, les routes d'accès sont particulières... Le petit déjeuner est pantagruélique, les installations sont très modernes, les interrupteurs ne sont pas exactement comme en France, il faut s'y faire. Mon séjour en Avril a été parfait. Présence de nombreux animaux et de petits canaux.... je ne sais pas comment c'est en été. La fenêtre est munie d'une moustiquaire. J'ai beaucoup aimé la location, à peu près à égale distance d'Amsterdam, Rotterdam et Den Haag, près des villes de Gouda et Utrecht. Le Keukenhoff et les plages célèbres sont un peu plus éloignée mais une très grande partie sur autoroute. Bref je conseille tout à fait.

Die Ruhe und Lage dieses Bauernhof ist eines der Highlights. Zum Einkauf kann man nach Kockengen bequem mit dem Rad (ca. 2,5 km) vorbei an einer wunderschönen Windmühle.

The property is based outside of town, benefiting from the fresh air, quietness and calmness. The property is surrounded by fields, and a farm. Great for walks or time with animals. (Mainly cows) The host is very knowledgeable about Netherlands and happy to recommend accordingly to your preferences. Unlike hotels, she recommend us non-tourist locations and places for authentic and cultural rich places to visit. Breakfast were different everyday, and tailored to the season and festivals. We stayed over Easter, and we got dyed Easter Eggs for breakfast. The room was clean, with communial kitchen if needed - giving us more freedom then in a hotel to cook if needed. The property is also very family and children friendly. Highly recommended and thank you for the lovely time :)

A little bit of paradise

This turned out to be our dream stay. Our accommodation (studio) was perfect. Clean and very comfortable. The management and staff were very welcoming and helpful. With help from our hosts we had an easy drive to the Amsterdam park and ride and a great time in the city. We also had a wonderful dinner at a local restaurant, again a recommendation from the hotel.
