"Our stay was truly saved by the incredible staff here. I arrived about two hours before our scheduled check-in feeling extremely ill from what I believe was food poisoning. I was actively sick and honestly just needed a bed and a bathroom as quickly as possible. When we explained the situation at the front desk, the team was unbelievably kind and accommodating. They did everything they could to get us into our reserved room as quickly as possible. That act of kindness truly saved the day and our entire family vacation.
The property itself is fantastic and very conveniently located within walking distance of Universal Studios and Universal CityWalk. Because of how close it was, I was able to rest and recover in the room while my husband and kids still got to enjoy the first day of our trip.
The amenities were great and ended up being incredibly helpful given our situation. Being able to order ginger ale from the bar and purchase medicine right in the lobby made a big difference while I was recovering. The shuttle to and from the park was a nice perk as well, though the walk is only about 8 minutes and very manageable.
After long days at the park, the pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing and easing sore legs from all the walking.
I would absolutely recommend this property for families or anyone looking for a clean, safe, and accommodating place to stay. The staff was so friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. I’m very grateful to them for taking such good care of us."
"Housekeeping was attentive. Towels were super soft. Nice, safe property. Bar and coffee shop was convenient. Only negative was the pool was not heated. "
"The gym is on the side of the building and I wouldn’t feel safe in there Bc anyone could sneak in. So it doesn’t feel safe enough with an exterior entrance. Even tho key is required "
"I particularly liked how clean the room was. The room was spacious, the mattress was fully enclosed in a cover, as were the pillows, and the bed was elevated on a frame (not a box spring). The floors were very clean, bathroom was spacious as well.
Parking was somewhat of a challenge with narrow lanes around the perimeter of the building, and there are a few more secure parking spaces on the interior of the building (accessible via a card-entry gate). We felt very safe and secure snagging a parking spot in this interior area.
There was a small coffee maker in the room, but complimentary coffee was not offered in the lobby, and we were directed toward the Cuban restaurant integrated with the hotel if we wanted coffee outside of the room.
The hotel has satellite TV with a handful of channels.
I think this hotel room was a great value, and I'd gladly book a room there again. "
