"Entry and wait staff were beyond excellent!"

"Cons: They were doing brick restoration, so the grounds were a mess. The Marquee Lounge was a horrible dining experience. We requested extra blankets that never showed up, and the sheets were horribly uncomfortable. There was never anyone at concierge. They seemend understaffed. Pros: the staff was friendly, the restaurant "Roberts" was overpriced but very good, the outdoor heated pool was lovely, however it was very hard to find and you had to sign in each time. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating to our children. The gardens were absolutely beautiful and the activities they offered were great. I am not sure we would stay here again. Only if the price were right. "

"The Georgetown Inn is in a good location if you want to be right in the thick of Georgetown shopping, dining, and waterfront. However, what was once a charming old hotel is now the victim of a characterless contractor flip. Our room looked like a random highway-side Marriott; it needed a deep clean, lacked a refrigerator, had very cheap linens and an overly firm mattress, and the other furnishings were cheap and uncomfortable. Overall, it was a major disappointment for the price, and had I been fully aware of what I was getting, I definitely would have looked elsewhere for lodgings."

"I have stayed here many times and usually have an excellent experience. However, this time it was not so great. The plumbing needs some work. Our toilet did not work and I assume because we didn’t get to the hotel until almost 11 PM but we didn’t staff wasn’t working. Therefore someone did not show up to the room until 12:30 AM. Housekeeping, or somebody should check to make sure the toilets are flushing when they review the room. Apparently that did not happen. I also saw some hairs on the lampshade in the bedroom. I had a suite. The bathroom was really small in the suite. I would likely not due a suite again. We were awoken at 7 AM on Saturday either due to construction or just loud noise. We faced the alley, which was not a nice view at all. You would think they would give me some sort of preference or about around after how many nights I’ve stayed there this year.! "

"Staff was the worst, rudest people I’ve ever encountered. Dried up contacts on bathroom floor. No housekeeping one day and apparently getting a water replaced in the mini bar, that I have to pay for, is a completely unreasonable request. I was told I could go the 7-11. Wow. Also had some random person knock on our door because the key security in the elevator wasn’t working and came home one night to police tape being taken down because of a murder suspect. "

"Rooms are modern and very very comfortable location is lovely quiet neighborhood not far from the fun of Q street or DuPont circle - breakfast is easy and quite good and gym is nice. Staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable "
