My husband and I stayed in the Junior suite. We were so pleased with our stay! We wanted a cave room experience for our honeymoon, and this is exactly what we wanted. The room was decorated with Cappadocia carpet and tasteful furniture. The guy at the front desk was incredibly helpful! We went in there so many times asking for recommendations, and he was always very patient. We did the Hamam he suggested, and it was such a therapeutic and soothing experience. He also made a great restaurant recommendation and scheduled our airport shuttle. The view at the breakfast patio was stunning. Hoodoos, cats, hot air balloons, and smokes from the chimney all created such a Cappadocian image. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the Göreme center. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who visits Cappadocia!

We loved our stay at Terra Cave Hotel! The owner could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and it is in a perfect location to explore Goreme. It also has a wonderful view from its breakfast area and terrace. Parking is on-street is limited, but was never a problem (we were there for four nights) because the owner always helped us so that we never went without parking a few short metres from the hotel. Would definitely recommend staying at Terra Cave!

One of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Extremely clean, comfortable bed, great ambience, the owner is incredibly helpful, and the location is great (although that's every hotel in goreme). For $55 it's well worth it.

Hotel that makes your trip as smooth as possible
From gracious front desk hosts who helped coordinate tours and airport shuttles to the breakfast staff who served made-to-order omelettes, the Terra Cave Hotel was all one could hope for in a hotel. Every morning, we enjoyed the stunning view of the city from the hotel's breakfast buffet terrace. The breakfast was vegetarian-friendly and was sufficient to keep us full all morning. The staff was always friendly, never pushy, and we never felt pressured to spend more money or add more to our itinerary than we wanted. The Wifi (internet) connection was good enough for a quick video interview call to the US with only a few interruptions. The Wifi had no problem loading up a Netflix movie. Water pressure of the shower was impressive and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. November can be chilly, but the room was always warm and the hot water never ran out. The location was a quick walk to the downtown, or a 20-minute walk to the Open Air Museum. Other sites are more convenient to reach in a day tour (the Green Tour was perfect for us), booked by the hotel--all we did was get picked up in front of the gate and dropped off at the end. It's surprising how important the hotel was to make the entire trip as smooth as possible. Bottom line: the location, amenities, and very reasonable price makes this hotel a place we'll recommend to others and remember to book again in the future.
