Super friendly staff. Exceptionally clean. Sumptuous breakfast. Great location with awesome views from rooftop. There are signs of tiredness around the property that can be easily addressed. Having said that we would gladly stay here again!

Wonderful hotel with excellent service

We really enjoyed our stay at Salkim Cave House - spacious and clean room, super friendly and helpful staff, yummy breakfast, wonderful terrace. The only drawback - the internet can be a bit spotty.

I cannot recommend Salkim Cave House enough. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, we felt like we were guests at someone’s home. The breakfast is so fresh and lovely. The location is perfect for Göreme centre where there’s plenty of shops and restaurants. I recommend booking any trips through the hotel, we did and so glad as they all ran so smoothly!!

The people at the hotel were extremely kind and friendly. However the conditions of the hotel could be better, there is no natural plants and the decoration of the rooms may be improved, but in general very nice place.

A great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Salkim Cave House. We booked a family suite which was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was nice and Yunus serves a very good breakfast. They also provide free mineral water and have tea making facilities in the room. The restaurants and shops are a 5 minute walk away downhill. Both Yunus and Yusuf are extremely helpful and attentive. Yunus can book your transfers and excursions. I thoroughly recommend Salkim Cave House if you go to Cappadocia.

No better place to stay in Gerome!

Beautiful hotel in Gerome. This cave hotel has spacious rooms and a huge bathroom (could literally fit 5 people in the shower). Very comfortable beds, traditional decor, super clean, and had a fridge and kettle in the room. The property is gorgeous, breakfast was phenomenal… Turkish breakfast each morning with variety each day. There are viewing terraces for watching the balloons at sunrise. Tunis was amazing! He started correspondingly with me from when I booked. Helped us with booking tours and car transfers. He made our stay extra special, very kind and detailed oriented. He is up with you at 4am to make sure your pick up for the ballon’s is ok and is there every step of the way. He took the time to watch the balloons with my elderly father to keep him company and made him coffee. Truly a phenomenal stay and will stay there again!

The staff went beyond what is expected, helping to arrange experiences and making us feel welcome. We experienced some of the Turkish culture by talking with them. Food was excellent. I can’t say enough about what an enjoyable time we had. The tourism industry here is also very organized and takes care of the visitors.

Oteldeki pozitif hatırlayacağımız tek şey Yunus bey oldu .Bilgili, dürüst ve ilgili biri . Kahvaltı da gayet yeterli ve iyiydi . Otel kömür İle ısınıyor maalesef ve bir sabah 5.30 da odaya giren duman kokusu İle uyandık .Ciddi bir tehlike atlattık .Tuvalet klozeti yenilenmeli kırık ve cok eski keza duş da . Oda alt katta ve eski mağara olduğundan daha cok aydınlatılmalı .Tavandan dökülen sıvalar her ne kadar günlük temizlik yapılsa da odayı kirletiyor . Bundan rahatsız olanlar bu tür odalarda kalmamalı çünkü kalıcı bir çözümü yok anladığım . Yunus Bey’e teşekkürler onun harici olumsuz bir tecrübe oldu .

We liked everything about this property, the room was very clean, the hotel was beautiful, the views from the terrace were just great. The breakfast included with the room was just superb. The receptionist spoke very good English, helped us with everything from setting up tours to carrying are bags. After staying at over 100 hotels worldwide he was one of the best I have ever came across. We highly recommend his property and if we are ever in the area again it will be our hotel of choice.

Parfait séjour !

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour ! Le personnel est top! La gentillesse, le service... Notre chambre était également parfaite. Le petit déjeuner excellent! Il y a une terrasse sur laquelle on peut se poser mais aussi y admirer le spectacle des montgolfières au lever du soleil. Je recommande totalement.

Odamiz rahatti temizdi.kahvalti cok güzeldi. Ilgili personel. Temiz bir yer. Biz ailecek rahat ettik. Merkeze yurume mesafesi. Akşamları cafelere indik. Gunduz peri bacalarini gezdik.sadece araba icin otopark sorunu var ama bu buradaki tum oteller icin geçerli.
