"It was a neat property but the room was tiny. The shower didn’t drain well so after 5 minutes the bottom of the shower filled up and started leaking onto the floor. When we got there the toilet lid was off of the back of the toilet. Just wasn’t what I was expecting. Photos make it seem like it’s in the heart of the area and it isn’t. Feels overpriced for the property and area. Husband and I are frequent travelers and were disappointed. We love a boutique hotel but this was not ideal for us."

"Comfortable beds, very quiet peaceful. Walking distance to venue for our concert at Humphrey's by the Bay. Friendly staff."

"The room needed repairs (worn frames/edges, couch, and bathroom), cleanliness was subpar (I found a toenail on the leather couch, there was feces on the outside of the toilet, and the bathroom smelled terrible), and there were stains on the sink’s counter. I was sick and decided to spray and wipe everything down myself with disinfectant. This was my first and last Hard Rock Hotel I will stay at. $2,000 for 4 nights was uncalled for with the low level of cleanliness and quality of the room. "

"In a convenient area to see my son at Point Loma Naval Base.It was easy to get-to several locations in the area from the location.The free breakfast was tasty and the pool area was nice too."

"The hotel was very clean, only thing I noticed was an empty alcohol bottle behind the bed when I was searching for a lost item. Hot tub and pool were good. Room with a view of the bay was great. We went to order some food to bring to our room and sat at the bar unacknowledged for a while. A gentleman asked us if we needed help before the waitress. She even acknowledged another table first that got there after us. Bummer that they didn't tell me they charge for parking ahead of time and they charge for cribs. All other hotels we have stayed at do not charge for cribs. Overall was a great stay and would stay again"
