"Absolutely loved the pool, the lobby, the balcony from our room! I found the room big with a hot shower, safe and 2 large beds, large TV. My husband would say the room needed a slight redo in paint, and a bit of cleaning (front door had hand prints, AC vent had chipped paint) etc and I can say I don't disagree. All in all the room was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly even to us NY'ers struggling to speak Portuguse. The pool staff, buffet staff, lobby staff were all so friendly. Only...

"I don't want to rag on the place, but my guess is that there are much better options. This place is rundown, physically uncomfortable (the bed! The chairs in the room! Even the loungers by the pool!), noisy, and just not nice.
